Other Ed Blogs
These are some other blogs that I read. This list will be added to as I discover more wonderful teachers out there blogging. I will try to focus on secondary education as much as possible, but there are few of us compared to the elementary school crew. Happy reading!
Eat.Write.Teach.
This is a blog by a relatively new teacher in Indiana. She teaches high school English and has wonderful resources and ideas related to classroom management, organization, and teaching strategies for Language Arts.
The Readiness is All
This is my new favourite by blogger David Theriault, an English teacher in California. His reflections on teaching as a master teacher are inspiring, his ideas on tech integration are phenomenal, and his teaching strategies are incredible.
Kovescence of the Mind
This blog is relatively new, but I've found it to be a good read for secondary English teaching strategies and the like.
ELA in the MIddle
This blog basically seems to serve as a dumping ground for the teaching ideas of the author, an English teacher and librarian, which means it is an endless source of wonderful, teacher-tested ideas that are free for the taking!
